We have convenient way for you to access, review and request changes to the data held on you and your children, direct from your phone as well as see key term dates.  You can access our new parent app and website at your own convenience via smartphone, tablet or PC – anytime, anywhere.

What will you find in SIMS Parent:
• School term, inset dates and contact details available at the click of a button
• Access to update your contact details, so we always have the most up-to-date information in case of emergency
• If you have more than one child at school, you will have access to this information for all your children, from the same app.

Getting started with SIMS Parent
1. Once you receive an activation email – simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account.
2. You can then login using your normal Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft username and password.
3. From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App store – search for SIMS Parent.
4. From a PC or Windows phone, login online at www.sims-parent.co.uk

Please note that your activation email is unique to you and should not be used by anyone else.
Your activation email will expire after 14 days if it is not used, please contact the school office if you require a replacement after this date.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

The school now encourages parents to pay for all school items online. This means you can pay whenever it ís convenient for you, without having to find the exact change, or having to send a cheque into school.

SCHOOL GATEWAY

  • To register for a Gateway account go to schoolGateway.com and click “I’m a new user”.
  • You will be asked for the email address and mobile number that the school hold then text a PIN to that mobile phone.
  • See the payment requests for all your children on one screen, including those from other schools that use Schoolcomms.
  • Choose which payments to settle and use a debit or credit card.
  • Track your payment history and items still outstanding.

SAFE AND SECURE

For peace of mind, payments via Schoolcomms are authenticated with Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.

 

PCI-DSS STANDARDS

Schoolcomms Payments uses a payment processor to process debit/credit card details. The payment processor is certified by Trustwave against the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard v1.2 (PCIDSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider.For added security, Schoolcomms doesn’t store any card details (card number, expiry date, security number). PARENT CONSULTATIONS

We will be holding parent consultation evenings this term for all year groups. However, due to current safety  regulations, these will need to be held remotely by telephone.  These meetings are an important opportunity for you to discuss how your child has settled into their new  class and the progress they are starting to make. We strongly recommend that all parents/carers make an  appointment. 
We are trialling the use of an online booking system for appointments this term. As with all new systems we  would appreciate any feedback and your understanding if there are any technical issues.  For those classes where there are two teachers, you will receive a call from one of the teachers but with  information and feedback provided by both teachers.
